ASPHALT SHINGLES

In the past, shingles blowing off in the wind and mildew growth were common problems, however some manufacturers have been successful in fixing these problems. We know which brands are better than others and at Wilkinson Shake Roofing we will recommend only the best shingle brands and use stainless steel fasteners to get the most out of your roof.

BRAI, PEEL AND STICK SELF ADHESIVE

Brai is a torch applied, single ply system that was one of the first of its kind in the roofing industry. Although it is not as popular as other options, you may have a job that warrants torch-on.

Peel and Stick products have become the state of the art material for low slope roofing. No more torches, hot asphalt, fumes or mess makes application cleaner, quieter and safer. These products also give us flexibility in designing a system to meet your needs by allowing us to apply additional layers to achieve a longer lasting and more durable roof system. Like everything we have learned, not all brands are equal and we only recommend the best brands available.

FULL FABRIC ELASTOMERIC ROOF

Cool roofs have become the “green” and cool choice for home owners. By applying a white coating to your roof, it will cool your home’s temperature significantly. However, each roof needs to be evaluated to determine the proper coating system to use. Many times poor roof condition requires special preparation and fabric reinforcement in order to give you a long lasting water tight roof.
